Making
a Difference in our Community

Donna,
I don't know how to begin to thank you and your students
(and parents) for the role you played in the Hero's Welcome
for the returning World War II Veterans Wednesday night at
the airport! Many of them said they didn't get this kind of
welcome when they returned from the war. The members of the
band were friendly and cheerful, and seemed to enjoy being
there, what a tribute to our young people. And to think that
Woodmont contacted us and offered to come and play, that
meant so much to the Honor Flight team. We really appreciate
everything you did to prepare the music (which was perfect
for the occasion), and get your instruments and students to
the airport - I know this was no small task. We really,
really appreciate everything you did. Please give our best
to your students and their families for their participation!
Thank you for your participation, and your Booster Club's
request to have you participate.
The veterans will never forget this day - you helped make it
special all 100 of them, and for the rest of us too!
Kind regards,
Betty, for the Honor Flight Simpsonville team
Congratulations to our Woodmont
Band Students for an job! At Solo & Ensemble Festival, our band members scored
25 Superiors and 5
Excellent Ratings!
This qualifies them for the

achieve in South Carolina.
